Social Benefit
Participation in structured sport will enable your son to live fully as a young person, to benefit socially from mixing with their own age group in a happy and friendly environment, where there is discipline and proper supervision.

Leisure Time with Friends
The children make good friends and grow up through their teenage years in company with these friends. Therefore parents will know where their children are spending their leisure time.

Generally our trainers and coaches are parents themselves, who’s own sons are involved. Having seen their own children benefit immensely from involvement in outdoor sport, they with other children to have the same opportunities.
Our Club Welcomes Everybody
Young players are the core of our club at Mount Sion. We cater for all age groups from the age 6 upwards. Children and young people from and school or any area of the city are welcome to come along, to train and play with Mount Sion. At present our young players are drawn from all over the city area.

It is often said: You do not choose your club, you grow into it during your school days and it becomes your second home, where you spend much of your leisure time in the company of your active friends. You move up through your teenage years, occupied and active. You may never become a great player, but there is a place for everyone, perhaps as a team trainer or club administrator or just an enthusiastic supporter. It starts when you are young so give it a go and see what happens.
